5. Rajapuri Turmeric: Grown mainly in Maharashtra, this variety is known for its large rhizomes and moderate curcumin content (around 2-3%). It is commonly used in the production of turmeric powder.

6. Nizamabad Turmeric: Originating from Andhra Pradesh, this variety has a high curcumin content (around 5%) and is known for its strong aroma and deep yellow color.

7. Duggirala Turmeric: Another variety from Andhra Pradesh, Duggirala turmeric is known for its fine texture and high curcumin content (around 4-5%).

8. Sangli Turmeric: Grown in Maharashtra, this variety is noted for its high curcumin content (around 4-5%) and strong color.

9. Lakadong Turmeric: From the northeastern state of Meghalaya, Lakadong turmeric is renowned for its exceptionally high curcumin content (up to 7-12%), making it one of the most potent varieties available.
